John Varvatos continues to add his creative take to some of Converse’s most classic sneakers as he and Converse release two new color-ways of the Converse Weapon 86′. The newest additions to the collection feature the Weapon 86′ model in both Rose and All Black color-ways. Take note to the distressed finish applied to the outsole and leather, attributing a vintage aesthetic. I don’t know if this is me looking to deep into it, but it the application of the distressed look on these particular shoes reminds me of the intended functionality of the original Converse Weapon sneaker.
